Over the past month or so I've been doing a bit of online shopping, mostly in the sales, so I thought I'd show you what I've bought! I've also been lucky enough to win several giveaways in the past 6 weeks so I've included my wins in this post as well. I haven't bought loads so wanted to wait until everything had arrived so I could do a collective haul, enjoy!
Before I had my operation I never wore skirts as they just didn't sit right on me, I knew that once I'd had the op I'd be able to wear them though so I went a bit mad in the sales and picked up 3 red skirts. The one nearest the front which is a bold red colour is from the New Look tall range, it's just a plain red skater skirt that will be easy to style. It was £10, down from £12.99, so not a massive saving but it is still a bargain. It is the perfect length for me, I'll definitely be buying more skirts from the range, you can buy it here.
The other two are both from Internacionale and were even more of a bargain, although both are normal length so aren't quite the right length. The lace one was £5 and has a elasticated waste so thankfully I can wear it a bit lower than where a skirt would usually sit, it just means it will be more difficult to style. It was a bargain though at it was £16.99 before, buy it here. The second one has a embossed print on it and is slightly longer but again it has an elasticated waist so I can wear it a bit lower, this was £7 down from £14.99, buy it here.
Over a month ago now I won these two products on Apivita's twitter, I'd heard so many good things about the brand so couldn't wait for my prize to arrive. I won the Green Tea & Bergamot Body Milk and the matching Shower Gel, I haven't tried either product yet as I've been using fragrance free products since my operation just to avoid irritating my scar, I can't wait to give these a go soon though!
I bought this cute little bag from ASOS recently and I really love it. I've never had a big bag and have always preferred using a small cross body bag, I really wanted something really dainty and pretty though. I love the colour of the bag and the little indentations on it, also it has just a plain gold chain for the strap and I really love how it looks. They don't seem to have this colour left on the website but they do have it in a purple shade which you can find here.
Also recently I became a ASOS Insider with Access All ASOS and they sent me a lovely little package with a lip balm and some cute earrings! I wanted to let you know as there is still time to apply to be an insider, if you love ASOS then I really urge you to apply, you can apply here.
Last month I was lucky enough to win Clare's Autumn Winter Beauty giveaway, I couldn't believe how many fab products I'd won! I love Essie nail polishes so I was so happy to see that I'd won 3 and also I've now tried my first MAC eyeshadow, I really want to make up a little quad now. I can't wait to try everything and hopefully post some reviews for you all!
I also won a very exciting giveaway from a lovely American blogger, Megan, whose blog is Southern Charmed. I was pretty excited when I won this as I'm always lusting after overseas products. I won a few bits from Sephora, an EOS lip balm, some NYX products and a Wet 'n' Wild Mascara. I was most excited about the Bath and Body Works Candle and Body Lotion though!
I have wanted the Q&A a Day 5 Year Journal for so long so I decided to finally buy it, from Amazon, before I had my op. I am so glad I bought it and I would recommend it to everyone, the questions vary so much and it will be nice to look back on my answers. I really hope I can keep it up for 5 years!
As well as buying some red skirts I also treated myself to this red lace skater dress which is from the New Look tall range! All my old dresses seem to be a bit too short since the operation as I have grown about an inch and a half so I decided to treat myself to this. It fits me really well and it's long enough, I really love it! I love that it was only £11.50 down from £22.99 as well, buy it here.
Over the Christmas period Miners Cosmetics did a 12 days of Christmas giveaway and I was lucky enough to win on day 10 which meant I won quite a lot of products including 24 eyeliners, 28 lip glosses and lots more! I can't wait to try everything out, I have lots of multiples of products so I'm passing on some to friends but I might keep some to do a giveaway on my blog and/or twitter! Look out for lots of reviews as well!
Thanks for reading,
Shona x
