Monaco by Milton Lloyd

Believe in Us
Monaco by Milton Lloyd is a dupe for YSL Paris. This fragrance is so very beautiful and smells divine. Its a sweet blend of parma violets & roses with a musky wood splash. I love it and whilst I don't own YSL Paris I've sprayed it enough in stores to know that Monaco is very similar.

Monaco is the perfect scent for summer, spring, winter and autumn. Its the type of scent that a girl/woman could wear for the rest of her life.

Monaco Notes: Floral - Carnation - rose, floral, spicy, powdery, musky, woody.

Price: £2.99 for 55mls/1.85 fl.oz. in store - prices vary and its not so easy to find (where I'm from). Check your local hair shop or  ... try online retailers (I haven't tried purchasing online) as they seem to stock a larger variety at a cheaper price.

Ingredients: Alcohol Denat (SD Alcohol 408), Propellant (Hydroflurocarbon, 134a Butane, Isobutane, Propane,), Parfum (Fragrance), CI 47000 (D&C) Yellow No.11), CI 15510 (D&C Orange No.4).

Made in: England

Any Questions?

Why are Milton Lloyd fragrances so cheap?
This video explains it well.

How's the longevity?
Well it depends on the individual scent. Nonetheless, generally I've found Milton Lloyd scents to be potent on initial application and then it dries down to a noticeable but not so potent scent but it can last the whole day ... and then some.

What about the ingredients, cheap fragrances are made badly aren't they?
Um, not necessarily. I guess it depends on the countries stipulations towards fragrances and the guidelines that the government has towards what is and what is not safe for cosmetic use. Ultimately companies whether they be on the high or low end can put suspect ingredients into products that you may not want on your skin. Smaller companies don't have big advertising budgets and sometimes with products, you're paying for the "concept" (marketing/celeb etc.) rather than the actual quality of the product and its ingredients so  its worth keeping that in mind.

Alright that's it if you have any more questions or comments feel free to ask - I don't bite (too hard *joking*).

Have you tried Milton Lloyd fragrances?
What do you think of "cheap" fragrances?
Do you go for dupes or the real deal?

Your comments are always welcomed and appreciated
