My experience with this Deep cleansing mask
With the kind of lifestyle I lead here in Bangalore, just simple CTM doesn't solve the purpose completely. There are days when stress caused by office and personal issues, along with Bangalore's pollution and weird climatic conditions really make my skin pores clogged and the skin super dull and tired.
I started using this particular deep cleansing face mask a couple of weeks back and I really like the effect it has left every time I've used it. After my usual cleansing, I usually apply a thick amount of this face mask on my face. It has muddy consistency and strong herbal smell with dominance of rose and a hint of peppermint fragrance in it. The mask is extremely cooling and soothing on the skin. I usually leave it on my face for 10-15 minutes, by which time it dries up completely, and then using the thoroughly rinsed and squeezed sponges I massage my face in circular motion to take this off. I end up by splashing water on my face and patting it dry.
Below are some of the likes and dislikes that I've felt about this mask
Likes:
1) The mask comes in a nice tube with a screw open lid, which is quite travel and usage friendly.
2) The mask has a muddy consistency and spreads well on my face. It is neither too thick nor too runny.
3) The mask has a nice herbal and rose fragrance, that is a bit strong but I love it all in all.
4) I love the cooling sensation the mask gives to my skin. It instantly makes my skin feel relaxed and refreshed.
5) I've experienced a nice lively glow on my face every time I've used this. As per the deep cleansing action is concerned, I really can see the effects that stay for 2-3 days after which I usually use this again.
Dislikes:
1) The mask leaves my skin a bit dry after I've washed it off, so it might not be very appropriate for dry skinned beauties. I however always apply Liz Earle Moisturizer after this, which makes my skin perfectly nourished and soft.
2) Its a task to clean the sponges properly, otherwise you might end up getting their pores clogged with the face mask's residues.
3) The herbal-rosy fragrance might be too strong for sensitive noses.
4) Availability might be an issue, but you can purchase this from Liz Earle's Official Website HERE.
Overall verdict:
I love using this face mask. It instantly soothes my skin and refreshes it. I feel quite relaxed and can see the glow on my face with every usage. I usually use it every 2-3 days and a small amount is enough to cover my entire face. I have oily-combination skin and my skin is absolutely in love with it.
