The Story of an Artist by Daniel Johnston |
I've been doing my Jukebox posts for a while and thankfully I think some of y'all like it. I really like making them too but, I thought I'd add to the mix, by making a film post because I also like to watch a few movies.
In these posts, I'll be showcasing 5 movies/TV shows that I've watched with a little mini-review where I'll try not to spill the beans. I think in the age of Netflix and everything beyond the 5 channels I grew up on (how did I survive?) there's so much choice but, life is precious and no one wants to waste their life with crap drama. Personally, I'm possibly the pickiest/most irritating person you can sit next to on the sofa as I pick apart wooden characters and eye-rolling plots. So, I'd like to think that I know a good film when I see one. What can I say? My B in Drama certainly got to my head.
Jokes aside.
I watch a variety of programmes etc. and I think this will be a refreshing side/break to just talking about makeup purchases and perhaps you may happen upon something that you'd also like. As always feel free to chime in with suggested movies/dramas (as long as they're not perverted) and this could be a mutual beneficial part of my old blog where for one post at a time we can all be critics (hunches back and sneers whilst swishing around a pretend glass of chardonnay - because that's what critics do).
I think it goes without saying that these are just my opinion, I'm not always right, my thoughts are not set in stone and if I so happen to diss your favourite movie I'm sorry you like crap films. Jokes. Seriously, I hope you'll take these posts lightly and with a pinch of salt because it shouldn't be so serious.
